Basic Avionics

Course Description:

A conventional classroom course introduces the basic principles of Avionics. The related ATA chapters which are the core of the course are delivered in a modern technique in order to spread the knowledge for the trainees. 

 

Target Trainees:

Qualified aircraft technicians, engineers and mechanics involved in aircraft maintenance.

 

Objectives:

Upon completion of this course the student will be able to:

·         Identify the scope of the term "Avionics" in modern aircraft.

·         Acquire the basic knowledge of aircraft avionics systems including electrical, electronic, navigation, communication, and auto flight systems.

·         Appreciate the role sophisticated avionics systems play in the safety and efficient operation of modern aircraft.

 

Method of training:

Training can take place at the premises of JATS in Amman-QAIA, or at a location chosen by the customer suitable for the intended training. Knowledge transfer will be achieved by Stand-up instruction in the classroom, accompanied by training aids as data show projector and computer based presentations (CBT). Each participant will receive a training syllabus for personal use as well as to use during the course. Training requires a PCs for each Trainee and multimedia projector to be used by instructor.
