Course Description:

This course covers the basic aerodynamics and meteorology related to de-icing/anti-icing operations, general health and safety information, different aspects of de-icing/anti-icing operations and aircraft types, operation of de-icing/anti-icing equipment, environmental issues and the coordination of de-icing/anti-icing operations.

 

Target Trainees:

Qualified aircraft engineers, mechanics and technicians involved in aircraft maintenance.

 

Objective:             

To familiarize the candidates with Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) and Joint Aviation Regulation (JAR).

 

Method of training:

Training can take place at the premises of JATS in Amman-QAIA, or at a location chosen by the customer suitable for the intended training. Knowledge transfer will be achieved by Stand-up instruction in the classroom, accompanied by training aids as data show projector and computer based presentations (CBT). Each participant will receive a training syllabus for personal use as well as to use during the course. Training requires a PCs for each Trainee and multimedia projector to be used by instructor.
