Fuel Tank Safety Level II

Course Description:

This course is designed to make the candidates familiar with the elements of Fuel Tank System Safety Issues and to enable them understanding the fuel system safety issues from regulatory and manufacturer’s maintenance publications.

 

Target Trainees:

Personnel in aircraft and component shop maintenance organizations involved in maintenance task planning, all personnel carrying maintenance tasks on aircraft or components classified as Fuel Tank Safety items, support staff and certifying staff.

 

 Objective:             

On successful completion of the course the student will be familiar to the background and history of the theoretical and practical elements of the Fuel Tank Safety (FTS) as required by EASA and FAA, have an overview of Special Federal Aviation Regulations (SFARs) from 14 CFR SFAR 88 of the FAA and of JAA Temporary guidance Leaflet TGL 47, be able to give a detailed description of the concept of ALI, CDCCL and AWL.

 

Method of training:

Training can take place at the premises of JATS in Amman-QAIA, or at a location chosen by the customer suitable for the intended training. Knowledge transfer will be achieved by Stand-up instruction in the classroom, accompanied by training aids as data show projector and computer based presentations (CBT). Each participant will receive a training syllabus for personal use as well as to use during the course. Training requires a PCs for each Trainee and multimedia projector to be used by instructor.
