A319/A320/A321 Airframe Systems (CFM56-5 or V2500)

Course Description:

This is a mechanical level III courses. It includes the training on all ATA related chapters. All the airframe, power plant, sub systems and components are described in details, as well as the operational and functional tests and trouble shooting of all related systems. It also includes the use of the operational documentation.

 

Target group:

All maintenance personnel associated with line and base maintenance activities, PART-66 Certified Staff category B1 or equivalent who are seeking a maintenance type rating course for A319/A320/A321 Airframe Systems (CFM56-5) in order to develop their skills and knowledge.

 

Objectives:

Upon completion of the course, the students will be able to:

·         Recall the locations of the principal components and access to those components.

·         Describe the function of each system and identify subsystems and interface.

·         Identify and explain the controls associated with each system.

·         Identifying normal and non-normal indications provided by aircraft controls, displays and built-in-test-equipment (BITE).

·         Safety procedures.

 

Method of training:

Training can take place at the premises of JATS in Amman-QAIA, or at a location chosen by the customer suitable for the intended training. Knowledge transfer will be achieved by Stand-up instruction in the classroom, accompanied by training aids as data show projector and computer based presentations (CBT). Each participant will receive a training syllabus for personal use as well as to use during the course. Training requires a PCs for each Trainee and multimedia projector to be used by instructor.

 

Examination:

Part of the training, are written multi-choice examinations with a minimum pass mark of 80% each.
