MCC (Multi Crew Cooperation) Training

The MCC (Multi Crew Cooperation) training will enable pilots with no previous Jet experience to acquire the professional level of skills and competency needed to undergo a commercial Jet Aircraft Type Rating in the most favorable conditions.


**Course Description:    

This course provides the knowledge to become proficient in the skills required to operate safely, multi pilot multi engine aircraft, under IFR.


Target Trainees:

Trainees who have not attended an integrated ATP course but who wish to obtain an initial type rating on multi-pilot airplanes shall be in possession of a valid PPL/IR or CPL/IR before commencement of MCC training



·    Optimum decision making, communication, division of tasks, use of checklists, mutual supervision, teamwork, and support throughout all phases of flight under normal, abnormal and emergency conditions.

·    The training emphasizes the development of non-technical skills applicable to working in a multi-crew environment.

·    MCC course also includes the opportunity to practice the skills that are necessary to be effective team leaders and members. This is achieved by training exercises in which the applicants are crewmembers in the pilot flying (PF) and the pilot not flying (PNF) roles.


Minimum Prerequisites

Minimum prerequisites to enter an MCC course:

-    Commercial Pilot License with Instrument Rating.

-    ATP written exam.

-    Fluency in English (ICAO English Proficiency level 4 minimum).

-    Flight experience:

v     A total of 220 hours (flight & SIM) including:

v     100 hours as Pilot in command (PIC),

v     30 hours on multi engine aircraft

-    CRM/TEM (Crew Resource and Threat Error Management) initial ground school course.


Method of training:

·    Training can take place at the premises of JATS in Amman-QAIA, or at a location chosen by the customer suitable for the intended training.

·    Knowledge transfer will be achieved by stand-up instruction in the classroom, exercises and group discussion, accompanied by training aids as data show projector and models.



          - 48 Theoretical Hours + 32 Simulator Hours


** If the MCC course is integrated with a Type Rating Course; in this case duration will be decreased to: 12 Theoretical Hours + 20 Simulator Hours.
