In-Flight Training Facilities

1- Cabin Emergency and Evacuation Trainer – CEET

The CEET is a combined device representing three different types of aircraft, namely A310, A320 and L1011. The Trainer is placed on a movable platform capable of pitching and rolling.  Each cabin section avails a fully operational type of emergency exit matching those on the real aircraft.  The exits are equipped with evacuation slides or slide/rafts compatible to those placed on board.

 

                          

 

2- A330 / A340 Door Trainer (DT)

The A330 / A340 DT device represents a fully operational door (normal and emergency) machine exactly the one onboard the aircraft. The cabin profile side provides a complete set of overhead stowage bins, allowing the drop of oxygen masks in case of decompression. The DT also has an attached slide/raft to the door area for the practical application of emergency evacuation.

 

                          

 

3- B727 / B737 Door Trainer

The B727 / B737 DT device represents a fully-operational door (normal and emergency) matching exactly the one onboard the Aircraft. The DT also has an attached slide to the door area for the practical application of emergency evacuation.

 

                          

 

4- B767 Cabin Emergency Evacuation Trainer – B767 CET

The B767 CET offers a combination of First and Economy class training. The Trainer is placed on a fixed platform. Each cabin section avails a fully operational type of emergency exit matching those on the actual aircraft. The exits are equipped with evacuation slides and slide/rafts compatible to those placed on board.

6- Fire Fighting Trainer

The FTD device represents a simulated oven and trash bin fire. Cabin crew members are trained how to use the fire extinguishers to put out fires in case of a trash bin or oven fire onboard on aircraft.

 

                          

 

7- Aviation First Aid Equipment

-         First Aid Kit: To treat injured passenger or crew

-         Emergency Medical Kit: a- Medications and b- Life saving equipments

-         AED (Automated External Defibrillator): USED IN CARDIAC ARREST, Abnormal heart rhythms. It is only one aspect of the medical care required to resuscitate a casualty with a shokable ECG rhythm, Depending on the situation

-         Pocket Oxygen Mask: Required for CPR.

-         Universal precautionary kit: A kit for the use of cabin crew members in managing incidents of illnesses with suspected communicable diseases, or contact with others body fluids. 

-         Portable oxygen cylinders: Oxygen cylinders for First Aid purposes. Respiratory distress (breathing difficulties) in any individual requires Oxygen.

 

                   

 

8- Swimming pool

JATS has a swimming pool for land and water emergency ditching training exercises to prepare pilots and cabin crew for the actual event of an aircraft landing on water. Also provided are life vests and slide rafts, enabling the most thorough pilot and cabin crew emergency training program.

 

                           

 

9- Cabin Service Trainer

The mock-up service cabin allows the cabin crew to practice the in-flight passenger services in First, Business and Economy class and includes onboard working galleys, carts and equipment, Instructor operation station, passenger seats and Seats for cabin crew and instructors.

 

                          

 

10- CBT - Computer Based Training

Computer Based training using computer monitors along with audio presentation mainly for the self-paced individual training of pilots, cabin crew and ground technical staff and other airline staff training as well. Available programs for A310, A318, A319, A320, A321, A330, A340, and EMBRAER aircrafts.
