JATS (Jordan Airline
Training and Simulation) is pleased to announce that it has
successfully completed the annual surveillance audit conducted by
EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency) for
Airbus A318/A319/A320/A321 (CFM 56 + IAE V2500) T1+T2
and A340 (CFM 56) T1+T2. JATS will commence
maintenance training courses for the aforementioned engines under
the EASA Part 147 approvals.
This certification is
an achievement for JATS’ management and staff and will be of an
added value to the previous certification of the
Airbus

obtained in 2009.
This new
certification will allow JATS to increase its market share by
conquering the international aviation maintenance training industry,
particularly Europe and the Middle East regions.
JATS also recently
received the JCARC (Jordan Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission)
certification for meeting all the requirements to operate an
approved training center with the following ratings: Flight
Operation Training, Engineering & Maintenance and Cabin Safety &
Services Training.
JATS is the pioneer
and most advanced aviation training centre in the Middle East, where
it provides the highest and finest quality pilot, cabin crew and
maintenance training standards. JATS is currently operating 4
full-flight simulators (2 A320’s, A310 and B767) and will be
installing B737 and Embraer simulators in October and December,
respectively.
