Course Overview

Upon completion of this course, the trainee shall be able to:

• Describe the relevant safety precautions
• Identify and use appropriate aircraft documentation
• Perform the normal and abnormal engine start procedures
• Perform procedures to assess the behaviour and performance of the engine
• Perform system, engine and component functional checks and adjustments as specified in the maintenance manual
• Correlate Information to make decisions concerning fault diagnosis and rectification
• Perform the normal, abnormal and emergency engine shutdown procedures
